I do regular date night or morning with all my 3 daughters and my wife.
These protected pocket of times give my kids the space to share anything they want and the rule I have to follow mostly is to listen more.
You will be surprised how much your relationship with your child will grow over a short time.
Sometimes the easiest way to bond with your child is to spend time with them and listen more.
N yes, our family rule is no use of mobile device during such dates.
