Orders

How do I know my transaction is successful?

Once your transaction is completed, you will receive an email that confirms and states your order(s). If you do not receive any email confirmation in your inbox, please check your spam folder.  

I place my order at 9pm on Friday. Will I receive it on the following Monday?
Once your order has been made, we will need 1 to 2 business days to get it ready. We process orders from 10am to 6pm from Monday to Friday.

Cut off time on weekday is 6pm. Any order after 6pm will be processed on the following business day.

Your parcel will be delivered by Smartpac. The postman delivers SmartPac to your doorstep. If unsuccessful, it will be delivered to letterbox instead. Doorstep delivery only applies for SmartPac orders posted until 25 October 2019. From 1 November 2019, SmartPac will be delivered to the letterbox only.

Should everything go smoothly, you will receive the parcel 3 to 5 business days (during non-festive periods) after we have sent out the parcel. Please note that your order will only be posted within Singpost’s operating hours between 9.00am and 6.00pm on Monday to Friday.

Any wrong / incomplete delivery information will result in shipping delay.

The website has hung. I am not sure if my transaction is completed. What should I do?

I am not sure which books to order. Can you help me?

Or you can drop by our Centre to browse through our collection of books. Our friendly consultants at the Centre will be able to assist you. Please take note that we are open from Wednesday to Sunday only.

How can I change my delivery information?

Once your order is placed successfully, you will not be able to amend your delivery information.

If your order is delivered, we will not be able to retrieve it.

If the parcel is returned to us, additional redelivery fee of S$6 will apply. Our book consultant will contact you via email or telephone or SMS that you have provided us. After we have received S$6 from you, we will send out the parcel.

If the parcel is not returned to us, you need to place a new order.

Can I amend / cancel my order / request for refund / exchange to another book?

Once an order is made and transaction is completed, we do not allow any amendments, cancelations, refunds or exchange of books.

Can I combine orders from different e-commerce platforms?
As you place orders from different e-commerce platforms & websites with different domain names, we are not able to merge your orders and mail them together.

Your order will be sent out separately.

Delivery

Do you deliver on weekends / Public Holidays?

There is no delivery service on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.

 

What happens if I miss my delivery?

Should the parcel be returned to Learning Out Of The Box due to incorrect/insufficient delivery information, redelivery fee will be chargeable at S$6. Our book consultant will contact you via email or telephone or SMS.

Unclaimed parcels exceeding 3 months will be cleared and no replacements/ exchange/ refunds will be made.

 

Can I collect my online purchase at your Centre?

Book collection service is not available at our Centre.

Can I request the parcel to be delivered on a particular day or timeslot?

We do not provide this service.

What is my delivery status?

You can write to: book@learningoutofthebox.org to check with our books department. Our team will reply you during our book department’s office hours.

What is your opening hours of your books department?

Exchange and Refund Policy

 

Do you have an exchange and refund policy?

Exchange

We do not allow exchanges for any purchases at our Centre or from any online platforms.

Others

 

I have missed your promotion. Can you extend the promotion to 1 more day?

There is no extension of promotion period. Do keep a lookout for our Facebook post or email for future promotions.

I want to do a bulk order. What should I do?

I received a wrong item / defective item. What should I do?

We’re so sorry for this. Please give us a chance to fix this – drop us a message at book@learningoutofthebox.org with the following information:

  1. Your Order Number
  2. Picture of the item(s) you received
  3. The item(s) you ordered
  4. Your mobile number

Our Book Consultant will get back to you during our book department’s office hours.
