Description
Why do we create this?
We have compiled the books together which are recommended for Primary 5 to help your child reinforce the concepts learnt from their previous levels and to help gear them up with the essential skills & strategies for both Paper 1 & 2 in PSLE.
So what can these books do?
As much as learning & understanding the problem sums concepts is important, so does revision, which is the key for doing well in exams.
These books highlight on the Concepts-Processes-Skills (CPS) method to help students solve problem sums easily & independently as well as consist of questions with detailed solutions that are commonly tested in PSLE Math Paper 1 & 2.
As most assessment books just provide you and your child the solutions (without explaining much), 8 to 9 out of 10 parents we spoke to found it hard to explain to their children.
‘No matter how I tried. My boy didn’t understand what I’m saying. It’s frustrating’.
As a result, both the parent and the child experienced stress.
Our Problem Sums Guide books contain the 12 types of concepts that your child needs to know by P6 and they provide a very clear step-by-step approach to solve the questions and it makes learning & understanding easier.
Our 40 Must-Know Problem Sums books is for Paper 2 & 101 Direct Must-Know Questions books is for Paper 1, and they contain the most popular & common questions from previous PSLE Math papers.
Fret not, parents! We also have something for you to help you in coaching your child.
Our A*Star Maths, Little Black Book & Math Activity Journal would come in handy as it shares many useful & important aspects on how to coach effectively & deal with child’s frustration as well as to identify & tackle common careless mistakes respectively.
You & your child are able to identify concepts at a glance. How?
Our Problem Sums Formula sheets & Layout poster is a compliation & summary of the types of problem sums: their concepts & methods. They work hand-in-hand with the Problem Sums Guide books and are also beneficial during revision.
